Foodie Friday #4: Of Canning and Condiments.

It’s also nice to be in control of the salt and sugar, and to know where the vegetable ingredients are coming from. Heinz, so far as I know, does not make locavore-friendly ketchup.
But I do, now! (Or as close as I can get – the tomatoes and onions were local, though I can’t speak for the salt, sugar, spices, and cider vinegar.) read more »
